My motto in life is 'And this, too, shall pass'. I picked that up from somewhere in the Bible. Nothing is forever. Not your house, not your car, certainly not your job. Not your anger, not your happiness, not your relationships, and most importantly, not your children.
I learned this the hard way with my first child. Everyone tells you how quickly the time goes by, but it took three children later for me to really learn how to cherish each moment. Unfortunately, you don't realize which moments are precious until they've slipped through your fingers.
I came across this blog via another that I follow, and she describes what it feels like to be a mother, and to suddenly realize one day that those moments are getting lost in the shuffle of daily burdens. Hope you enjoy reading this as much as I did.
